Rapid Chess Tournament - Villarrobledo 2007

| On 4-5 of August in Villarrobledo, Spain took place a strong rapid tournament, part of a large festival. 189 Participants, including Top GMs Topalov, Ivanchuk, Ponomariov, Shirov, Dreev and many other strong grandmasters played a 9 round Swiss.
Ivanchuk led after the first few rounds, but a loss to Malakhov put an end to his winning steak. Ruslan Ponomariov took first place with 7,5/9 before Dreev and Topalov, who tied for first with the same points. Final standings:
