Zappa won the 5th game against Rybka in Mexico. The game was deep ended - there was a queen for Zappa vs. two rooks for Rybka, but rooks were closed by pawns.
A funny story happened before the game. While Zappa was preparing, the operator of Rybka was testing the DGT board display. So the operator of Rybka jokingly tested with 1.h4 just to see if the move register on the giant screen. He did not know that the board was actually connected live to the Internet broacast and there was no take back feature. So a technician had to be called in to reset the Internet display.

"Who" Zappa is?
Zappa, or Zap!Chess, is a chess engine written by Anthony Cozzie, a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The program emphasizes sound search and a good use of multiple processors. Zappa scored an upset victory at the World Computer Chess Championship in August, 2005, in Reykjavнk, Iceland. Zappa won with a score of 10.5 out of 11, and beat both Deep Junior and Shredder, programs that had won the championship many times. After a disappointing result at the world championship in Turin last year, Cozzie decided to retire from computer chess, but in 2007 he suddenly came back with an improved version of his engine, named Zappa Zanzibar.

After game 6 the result is: Zap!Mexico 4-2 Rybka
