| The European Team Chess Championship 2007 for men and women is taking place in Crete (Greece), 27th October - 7th November, 2007.
In the men section, the Russian team is European chess champion. In the last round the pairings are Russia-Bulgaria and Armenia-Israel.
In the women section, the Russians leads with 14 points, followed by Poland and Armenia with 12 points. In the final round the pairings are Ukraine-Russia, Armenia-Georgia and Romania-Poland.
