The World Chess Championship 2023 match takes place in Astana (Kazakhstan) between April 7 and May 1, 2023. There are 2 contenders fot the title: Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia, under FIDE flag) vs Ding Liren (Cnina).

Current world chess champion Magnus Carlsen abdicated and decided not to defend it's title, so there are 2 contenders for the title.

Total 14 games would be played. If the result is equal, there would be a tiebreak day for rapid and blitz games.

After the first 4 games, the result is 2:2, but it wasn't boring at all!!

Ian Nepomniachtchi had won game 2 with black pieces. However, today he made a blunder in game 4 and Ding managed to win the game.
