Morelia - Linares 2008 (Round 1 results and standings)

The strongest chess tournament this year takes place in Mexican city of Morelia (15th-23rd February) and then in Spanish one - Linares (28th February - 7th March 2008).
At first round Indian Vishwanatan Anand (with blacks), Hungarian Peter Lékó (white) and Bulgarian Veselin Topalov (white) won their games against Alexey Shirov, Teimur Radjabov and Levon Aronian. Norvegian Magnus Carlsen and Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk drawn.
