The 1st World Mind Sports Games 2008 takes place in Beijing (China) from 3rd-18th October 2008. The event combines a few sports in one event, which is similar to the coming The Chess Olympiad 2008 in Dresden. The mind sports are: Bridge, Chess, Go, Draughts and Xiangqi.

In the individual tournaments of chess sport the winners are as follows...

* Points of the players are from "the final four" round tournament. To qualify for that final tournament they have played Swiss system in 11 round and they had 1st-4th place.
